About

My love of sports, nutrition, health, and working with people inspires me to help individuals understand and maximize the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle. I am an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer and trained Lifestyle Coach who has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from Walla Walla University, and minors in Nutrition and Religion. I have earned certifications in the areas of Boot Camp Implementation and Training, High Intensity Interval Training, Baby Boomer Fitness, Exercise for Special Populations, Balance and Fall Prevention, and hold multiple certifications in specialized areas of Older Adult Fitness, functional training, weight lifting, and more. I attend continuing education seminars and classes regularly in order to stay current on research, fitness trends, and other related issues. I have worked in the fitness, sports, health and education industry for 21 years. Participating in competitive sports starting at the age of 5, to being trained as a collegiate/professional athlete, receiving a degree in physical education, and being raised by a family of medical professionals has given me a broad range of experience in helping individuals with various health and wellness goals. My particular areas of interest and expertise are weight loss, muscle confusion, core training, balance and coordination training, instability training, multi-joint and muscle group workouts, weight lifting, therapeutic exercise, sports-specific training, High-Intensity Interval Training, Boot Camp workouts, and creating workouts that change each time so that the body and mind won't get into a rut! I would sincerely love to speak with you about your personal health and wellness goals to discuss how I may help you obtain them. I look forward to hearing from you!
