About
I specialize in personal training for baby boomers, senior citizens and Post-Cardiac Rehabilitation. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Exercise Science and minor in Applied Science. I completed my internship at Methodist Hospital Cardiac and Vascular Center where I helped heart patients recover and improve their overall physical and mental functioning. I also helped patients modify risk factors such as high blood pressure, smoking, high cholesterol, physical inactivity, obesity and diabetes. My education strongly focused on laboratory procedure, biomechanics, anatomy and physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and exercise prescription. My employment experiences include working for a boomers and seniors health and fitness club where my duties included personal training for seniors, Synergy & Small Group Personal Training, member reassessment, group fitness instructor for Senior Boot Camp, Circuit Interval Training, and Strength Training.
