My interest in personal training was sparked long ago when I decided to change my body. I started working out at the Greater Louisville YMCA and eventually began working with a trainer. I lost over 100 lbs and have kept it off for 17 years give or take a few! I began competing in triathlons and did so for about 4 years until I went back to school to get my PhD in chemistry. I have completed in many triathlons, including the Muncie Endurathon (1/2 Ironman). I continue to race as a runner (5k to marathon) and cyclist. I believe in functional training, weather for sport or for everyday living! I have trained in body building and have played and coached many team sports. We all benefit from having a coach or trainer. I would love to help you reach your goals, whether to compete, to lose weight, to increase fitness, strength, and stamina or to achieve all of these things! My objective is to give you the tools necessary to enrich your life through regular exercise.
