I knew I wanted a career in the health and fitness industry at an early age. I lead an active lifestyle that ranges from wakeboarding to weekend hikes. I have coached, mentored and competed as a multi-sport athlete throughout the years. After serving on active duty for five years in the United States Marine Corps, I chose to pursue higher education. I focused on psychology as well as kinesiology because I strongly believe that without a strong mind, you cannot have a strong body and vise versa. I learned valuable lessons to include a wide range of exercise modalities, motivation techniques for healthy eating habits, as well as working hands-on with clients with disabilities. I have always maintained a strong desire to help individuals set and reach goals, whether it is in the gym or your personal life. I have seen the significant impact that exercise, proper nutrition and hard work can have on an individual’s life. I am a firm believer in the quote, “We are always a work in progress.” I train because I enjoy helping people progress and seeing the fulfillment it brings to their lives.
