About
I initially decided to become a personal trainer while taking a year-long break after earning my Bachelor's degree in psychology. I thought it would be a good way to earn a part-time income while going to grad school. I immediately fell in love with the health and fitness field after my very first class in exercise physiology! When I trained my first client as an intern, I KNEW fitness training was my calling. Since becoming a Certified Personal Trainer, I have taught boot camp classes, lead the strength & conditioning programs for Miramar College Men's Basketball and Women's Soccer, and Coronado High School's Women's Lacrosse. I also currently train clients one on one in a San Diego fitness studio and teach PE at a local private high school. I have worked with ACE on a few projects, including the ACE Idea Fitness Journal Cover Photo, Group Fitness Leadership instructional DVD, a "Partner Exercise" video and a feature news segment on ACE's Tabata research. I believe success comes easily when you believe in and love what you do. It is my mission to share this passion with my clients and transform them into individuals with life-long healthy habits.
