I've been involved in group fitness,dance, and strength training in various capacities for more than 20 years. I'm also Communications Director for the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA)and a regular contributor to the Journal on Active Aging. My specialties include developing functional fitness programs/workshops, progressing clients at an appropriate pace, and ensuring that we all have fun! As an award-winning health and medical writer/editor, I keep up to date on the latest scientific literature about health and fitness. During the pandemic, I started playing the guitar and now perform and sing at various venues. I also do performance coaching, including postural awareness, presentation skills and injury prevention.
