Roger has been involved with health and fitness for over 10 years; getting his start when he competed in the Body-for-Life competition in 2002. Roger received his personal trainer certification from A.C.E. (American Council on Exercise). He also has a Golf Conditioning Specialist certification as well as a Lifestyle & Weight Management Counselor Certification from A.C.E. His exercise plans are designed to develop strength, balance, flexibility, muscular endurance, postural awareness and cardiovascular fitness. Roger uses many exercise techniques and disciplines including calisthenics, circuit training, Pilates, core stabilization, plyometrics, HIIT, super setting, olympic lifting, dumbbell complexes, and kettlebell training. Roger incorporates both unilateral and bilateral movements to create the most structurally effective program to help people reach their goals and create a healthier, more energetic lifestyle. Roger's workouts are designed to be fun, fast, and functional. If you aren't having "fun", then you aren't likely to stick with the program. If you aren't moving very "fast", then you aren't burning many calories! And if your routine isn't designed to make you "function" better physically at everyday tasks, then what good is it?
