About

My preferred clients are those people who are Baby Boomers or older. Over the last 15 years the majority of the people I've worked with have been 65-90. I currently have a client who is 91 and I've worked with her for 15 years. There is a lot of satisfaction in helping people remain active and self-sufficient as they age. I have been involved in fitness for almost 40 years, 18 of those as a Certified Personal Trainer with ACE. I have a B.A. in Nutrition from Cal State, Long Beach. My areas of emphasis are muscle and core strength, balance and flexibility utilizing kettlebells, free weights and the TRX system, among other things. My goal is to help each client, whether healthy or trying to overcome some health challenge (including post-rehab), to begin and maintain a regular program of exercise so they will be able to live a long, happy and functional life. None of my clients should ever be people who need help in crossing the street or carrying their groceries to the car. I am a stickler for safety and correct form and will make sure that you learn every exercise properly. I would prefer to train in your home but if something can be worked out, a gym is fine.
