FitAdvantage is located in Chevy Chase, MD (Washington DC, NW / Bethesda, MD area) Ms. Ekberg provides individually tailored, result-oriented premiere fitness programs to mainly 50+ clients, seniors, overworked executives, teenagers and pre/post natal clients. Many clients are females but we also enjoy to see couples or "best-friends" in this safe, healthy all-round fitness training sessions. When ever there is access to a swimmingpool clients can chose to have sessions in the pool. It is a low-inpact, incorporating strength training, daily life training and flexibility training. She is an AARP certified trainer and also holds an AEA aquatic personal training certification. For clients who request a more intense work-out Ms. Ekberg incorporats moves and experience from the Martial Arts and kick-boxing, from which area she holds a first degree black belt in tae-kwon-do.
She has a BS in Behavioral Science and works closely with other fitness professionals in the area.
