I have been training individuals since 2003 and training myself years before that. Before I decided to become a Trainer I battled with weight loss myself. I'm very sympathetic to what many go through. My Journey began pretty much like most people. I had always been a slim person, but as I got older my metabolism decreased and the weight began to increase. I had reached 180 lbs and was getting ready to go into a size 16. After taking a family picture, I wasn't happy with what I saw. I realized I had to change things. The most important factors in my drive were that I BELIEVED in myself and had the WILLINGNESS to change things. All I had to do was APPLY myself. I began to research exercise and nutrition. I gave up all junk food and started replacing it with nutritious meals and snacks. The transition wasn't easy, but improvement and positive results fueled my motivation to work harder and stay true to my new lifestyle. I worked hard and became very passionate towards exercise often helping others. I decided I wanted to teach others another way of life through exercise and became ACE certified. Though, I work with clients of all different age groups,one of my greatest passions is being able to work with middle aged women and men. It is so rewarding getting them back into shape, building up their confidence, energy levels, and strength. I am in my 50's myself and I have never felt better!! It is never too late!!! My philosophy in Training is Mind Over Matter: Believe, Be Willing, and Apply. I try to teach my clients to have "Personal Power" in that they CAN achieve their goals if they just focus on all the good things that are yet to come. For me the only road to the "Fountain of Youth" lies in exercising. ....
