Hello there! Glad you found me. My name is Betty. I am a 31 year old woman with a great interest in all things related to fitness and nutrition. In November 2008, I turned my decade-long interest and hobby into my career when I earned my Personal Training certification. I hope to be a source of encouragement, inspiration, and motivation for others on the road to better health. Life keeps me busy! I am married, have two young children, and am studying for other fitness-related certifications. As you might guess, my favorite way to spend "me" time is in the gym. My passion is weight training-- it's what brings me back to the gym day after day. I get great satisfaction from getting stronger, and the changes to my body that weight training brings. When I'm not in the gym, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family outdoors, or just hanging out at home. Every day is a learning experience for me. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last July. This condition presents a few obstacles for me, but instead of letting them hold me back, I choose to see this as a challenge and a learning opportunity. If you are facing this as well, I would be happy to share what I've learned and help you effectively work towards your goals. The road to a better body doesn't have to happen in a gym. If you are more comfortable in your home, I can come to you. If you just need a walking buddy, I will keep you accountable. The possibilities are endless!
