I am the owner of Bodyworks Personal Fitness Training Studio and a fitness trainer there as well. My focus is creating a healthy and fit environment so that each client can have a better quality of life. I enjoy working with the older population, someone who has challenges with their health and anyone who wants to achieve a more balanced life through fitness. My passion for fitness began at an early age. I was a gymnast through grammar school and then began long distance running in my early teens. While in college studying nutrition I worked in health clubs teaching aerobics and training clients. I specialize in core and strength training to increase overall energy and help create lean body mass. I combine cardiovascular and heart rate zone training, core and stability exercises with strength and resistance training, and integrate stretching and foam rolling techniques to help keep the physical body balanced. All of these are combined to create powerfully efficient programs for my clientele. I am adamant about form and integrity of movement. In addition to fitness training at Bodyworks, I enjoy wake boarding, snow skiing, running, hiking, cycling, gardening and yoga.
