Kettlebells, sandbags, heavy ropes and vibration platforms are all examples of relatively new or re-introduced fitness equipment that have become increasingly popular around the world. Whenever a new fad is introduced in the market, it can be a challenge to identify whether it’s a gimmick or a legitimate training tool that can help clients achieve real results. In this webinar, you’ll review several of the latest trends and explore research behind why they may or may not be effective tools to add to your toolkit. In addition to the equipment listed above, you’ll discover the benefits of sandbags and Sandbells™, ViPR™, water-filled implements and weight sleds.
You will learn:
- Benefits of exercising with non-traditional strength-training equipment
- To identify how non-traditional strength-training equipment can help clients meet their goals
- Appropriate ways to integrate non-traditional equipment into a client’s current exercise program
This is the first online course I have taken with ACE- the video is not of the greatest quality and the talking was distorted. Very annoying and frustrating to listen to.
Complete waste of money. I was excited and hoping for good examples of how to use training equipment. Instead all the lecture was about was.. this is a soft ball best used for catching, this is a hard ball best used for bouncing. You don't say? Absolutely zero new information was gained. I'm so disappointed with the Ace certification standards. I could have saved my $500 and learned more information just googling. All of Aces information is so out dated and basic. Would NEVER recommend Ace to anyone for certification. It's pretty much a joke
