Exercise Nutrition

This full day course will help familiarize athletes and fitness enthusiasts with the link between nutrition and athletic performance. Discussion will include the roles of biological systems, hormones and fuel sources on athletic performance. Metabolic pathways of macronutrients and the effects of fuel composition and timing will be explored. The student will learn how to practically apply these techniques to an individual’s exercise program.
