Whether a beginner rookie or a novice instructor, this 8-hour course will take the vertical water fitness instructor to the next level. Instructors will walk away with a flowchart of how to incorporate water principles into their choreographed workouts. These water principles can be applied to supply participants with progressions and regressions in both choreography and muscle endurance exercises. There will also be practical experience on the deck for those who need more work with visual and non-verbal cueing skills. If the participants are using music to motivate the classes, the section on working on the beat and the top of the phrase will be invaluable. We will discuss the pros and cons of water, land and half-water tempo choreography. Finally, we will look at the scientific principles behind the increase of longevity for our water participants.
