The Burn 60 instructor certification course consists of two specific training methods, The Run and the Lift, creating a dynamic and effective fitness program for weight loss and improved physical strength and conditioning.
The course will educate each instructor on the core principles for the Run, including how to set up a running workout, how to effectively coach a running workout, music selection, and cues for running form, foot strike, posture and stride. In addition, the course will provide examples of different workout sequences based on endurance, speed, and tempo.
The course will educate each instructor on the specific training methodologies for the Lift, including functional, ballistic, stability and core training. The course will include how to effectively implement these methodologies into a workout to create a well-balanced and effective program for the clients. Each instructor will learn the basics of how, why, and what for each piece of fitness equipment used in the Burn 60 studio.
The course will teach the instructor how to effectively coach two groups simultaneously, one group with the Run and the other group with the Lift. Each instructor will be given examples of how to set up, time and transition each group to keep an organized and effective workout.
