Individuals that attend this workshop will walk away with a number of things. They will fully understand the benefits of kettle weight training and how they can differ from traditional free-weight training. With such elaborate and diverse gyms around the country, patrons are used to using several pieces of equipment to receive a “total body workout.” Understanding how to use one piece of functional equipment can improve strength, endurance, explosiveness, and work capacity of both the anaerobic and aerobic systems can eliminate that mindset. Attendees will understand the basics behind the lifts performed with kettlebells, as well as how to safely execute them. Exercise has become very “functionally-based” driven in today’s society, so using multi-joint/total body movements with kettlebells is a true example of that. Participants will be able to walk away with a more versatile and effective style of coaching individuals when it comes to applying kettlebell exercises to their programs.
