Traditional anatomy classes have taught that muscles function as a series of individual, isolated components with each one having a specific purpose. Consequently, many exercises are designed to work only one muscle group or body part at a time. As research about the muscular system has progressed, we’ve learned all muscles are connected via fascia and connective tissues that work synergistically to control movement.  In this recorded webinar led by ACE Exercise Physiologist Pete McCall, you’ll explore the latest understandings about the myofascial system, and how it works to produce and control forces in the body. You’ll learn the physiology of specific muscular subsystems and myofascial lines, and methods of organizing exercises that are tailored to the way your clients move.
