Nice course, but we are in year 2016 and this course was introduced in year 2010. Therefore, all the research updates in this course in till 2009. May be ACE should consider bringing a new text that accommodates all scientific research till date. Thank you!

Challenging course! Not easy to find the answers to some questions ... had to guess!

The material could use some updating- most of it is 10 years old and doesn't include more recent findings on cholesterol and newer dietary recommendations. Also, it would be great to have more break down of all that is going on in the body. Some of that is there, but I think there could be greater detail. I appreciated the diagrams and charts in the back and the sections on working with youth and how exercise helps to prevent CHD.

I felt the course material was difficult to study--moving from one research study to another.

I am currently in graduate school for nutrition and a lot of the book is incorrect. The information is dated and does not correlate to the actual science of nutrition.

ACE RESPONSE:  Sarah, thank you for your course review.  We will be sure to take a look at this course and see where updates need to made.

This was a difficult course and while interesting, I can't imagine that I will have much use for some of the more in depth parts. Knowledge is never a waste though.

I enjoyed the course. Some of the material is confusing and hard to find the answers. I suggest that the correct answer should be shown at the test results for the ones that were missed. I was clueless to the correct answers to the ones I missed.

Too long and not exactly up to date. Able to answer exam questions as I read the book but there were some diagrams and facts that were not necessary. I am personally not a fan of some of the extra information but that's my opinion. For the most part the information was informative and useful but there was just too much of it. I would recommend the course to someone more interested in the topic though.
