ACE has been working with AARP to offer ACE-certified professionals new, enhanced benefits to the ACE Trainer Program for AARP Members. From having the flexibility to set your own rates to earning free CECs upon enrollment, we’re excited about the program’s new offerings.

Who is Eligible?
This exciting program is exclusively available to all ACE-certified Personal Trainers, Group Fitness Instructors, Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultants and Advanced Health & Fitness Specialists that hold a current CPR and AED certificate and liability insurance policy.
How Does the Program Work?
By enrolling in the program, you will receive 0.2 free ACE eCredits (worth 0.2 CECs, a retail value of $49.99), as well as access to marketing tools to help you promote your fitness services to the AARP community—all for only a $50 enrollment fee. You have the flexibility to set your own rates for one-on-one, semi-private/small group, group training sessions, and you must agree to provide a 20 percent discount to AARP members along and yoga classes with one free offer in the form of a consultation or one group fitness class.
What Marketing Tools Are Available?
AARP’s members will learn about the services available through both the AARP fitness and ACE Web sites, and they can locate and contact you through a convenient ZIP code search that will lead them to your personalized profile. This makes it easy for AARP members to quickly match their needs to your services, experience and qualifications. A full-color marketing flyer is available that you can personalize and distribute. In addition, online client-management tools allow you to easily track correspondence, prospect-to-client conversions and training sessions.
Will AARP Promote the Program to their Members?
Yes! AARP promotes ACE as a participating provider of the AARP Fitness and Wellness Program through AARP fitness website and member benefit communications. Through the AARP Fitness and Wellness Program Web site, millions of visitors can get program information and gain access to your profile as a participating fitness professional.
