Scott GoudeseuneSince 1985, ACE has evolved from certification provider to thought leader in our industry. Every day we are working hard to elevate you and your profession by building partnerships with healthcare providers, creating opportunities within communities, and by advocating on your behalf in Washington DC.

Here are a few developments we want you to know about:

1. Advocacy Center

Our new ACE Advocacy Center outlines how we are working with national leaders to bring well-qualified health and fitness professionals like you into the healthcare system, and why. It provides a place for you to explore our key issues and supporting research, and how you can get involved.

2. CREP

Our dedication to you has also led us to unite with other leaders in the fitness industry who offer certification programs accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies. Together, through a new 501(c)(6) called the Coalition for the Registration of Exercise Professionals (CREP), we are presenting a united front in favor of getting NCCA-accredited health and fitness certification holders recognized as members of the healthcare continuum.

3. PROfiles

We’ve also just launched a new national campaign highlighting ACE professionals who serve as everyday health heroes in their communities. Through a series of documentary-style interviews with people from all over the world, PROfiles will help reshape the perception of professionals in our space, and arm the public with new inspiration to live healthy lifestyles.

We encourage you to explore the new initiatives our organization is working on, and let us know your thoughts. Please feel free to share them with me via email at tellscott@ACEfitness.org or engage with me on Twitter @ACEOScott.
