With over 20+ years of experience in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor and later a personal trainer, I continue to live my life dedicated to improving one's quality of life. My career and family life has evolved, but my focus stays the same. Six years ago, I had a late pregnancy in my early 40s and considered high risk in the OB/GYN world. But I didn't let that label and age discourage my delightful God-given gift. I welcomed it and motivated my second half of my life. My son, now 6 is truly a gift that keeps on giving. With children ranging from 6-28 yrs old, I embrace each day as a blessing to have been able to bring 4 beautiful and gifted young'uns to this world. Currently, I have stumbled upon my "dream" job as my career evolved towards the active aging population. Being a fitness supervisor in an active community this last year is my cherry on top. I have been able to touch all age groups and did the best in spreading the fitness lifestyle. And now, I get to continue and possibly finish my career in a setting of positive people and retired lifestyle....ONE I hope to retire to as well.
