About
INTRODUCTION: As a trailblazing professional, Lisa brings thirty years of experience in health, launching from a unique position, serving in the comprehensive spectrum of disease prevention to end of life care. She is driven by an unstoppable passion for quality assurance & efficiency in operations, with the goal of removing barriers in equitable access to critical services. For the last four years, she has walked alongside her son as a 24/7 solo caregiver, providing care management and support in his thirteen-year brain cancer battle. During this time, she has witnessed a broad range in quality of care and has made it her lifelong mission to increase provider transparency, accountability and commitment through education & patient empowerment in navigating a challenging industry which often loses sight of the mission to care in the midst of financial constraints. She is currently preparing a database to provide quality community resources to local residents & offers lectures on a variety of health-related topics, as well as her signature eight-week course entitled; Adventures in Aging. In addition to this, Lisa provides caregiver support and is currently writing a survival guide for family caregivers that will launch in 2024. CAREER HISTORY: Lisa’s background includes teaching preventative health to both groups & individuals. While completing her graduate degree, she accepted a position with Arizona Long Term Care serving in chronic disease care coordination, managing one of the largest and most remote caseloads on the team. In her last corporate position, Lisa served as Director of Health and was part of the original team opening Touchmark at the Ranch, a five-star senior living community. She exceeded the goal for initial membership of the Touchmark Health & Fitness Club, creating a one-of-a-kind clinically supportive wellness program which allowed providers to collaboratively work with her staff to transition patients out of physical therapy.
