I have been teaching in the fitness industry since 1988 when I received my ACE certification. My background includes a BA from the University of St. Thomas, 18 years in fitness and management with NW Athletic Clubs (now Lifetime Fitness), personalized one-on-one training and small group exercise instruction. I have been a dedicated Pilates participant since January of 2001 due to the improvements in core strength I have experienced. I have scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and wore a Milwaukee back brace for 18 months during puberty. My current active lifestyle and freedom of movement is credited to my commitment to health and fitness, and Pilates training. My Pilates Mat certification was attained from the Physical Mind Institute and my Pilates certification was completed through Balanced Body University. Currently, I am teaching Pilates classes and privates for Pilates MN in Wayzata.
