About Peter Gordon: Peter Gordon is an ACE certified personal trainer and has over 10 years of fitness experience. An avid soccer enthusiast with a four year collegiate career and a brief professional stint, he has developed a wide array of training techniques to maximize: • Weight loss • Muscle gain and definition • Strength and conditioning Peter’s fitness experience came in handy when his wife announced that she wanted to prepare for her first fitness competition in only two and a half months (normally takes four to six months) in September 2008. He developed a challenging yet enjoyable fitness program, comprised of weight training, plyometrics, and calisthenics, which transformed her from a 127 pound (22% body fat) newcomer, to a lean 111 pound (13% body fat) contender. In the end, she won the figure novice short and figure novice open divisions and placed fourth out of 30 competitors in the figure open short division. After witnessing his wife’s accomplishments and fielding numerous requests for fitness tips from fellow gym members, Peter realized that training was fun and rewarding—a revelation which has led to the conception of the KooYah Fitness experience
