About

Cathy’s interest in fitness began almost 15 years ago when she had a back problem that could be helped by weight loss and muscle toning. Since then she has slowly but steadily lost weight and become a runner, cyclist, hiker, rock wall climber, weight lifter and has participated in running races and triathlons. Getting and staying fit has been one the biggest challenges and most rewarding things Cathy has ever done. Now as an experienced Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness coach, Cathy would like to help you reach your fitness goals too. Getting fit for your health and for a healthier body image is important but staying fit can be tough if you don’t find new goals and challenges that push you. At times we become afraid of change or of switching up our routine but that can be just what is needed to keep going strong and to stay motivated; Cathy can set up a plan for you that includes safe but fun changes! Cathy’s motivation and drive is helping people get fit and then if the interest is there helping those same people create a lifestyle of fitness that seems natural. She believes that exercise can be fun and can become a habit and almost second nature if you find something to do that you love or that challenges you to excel. Have you always wished you were brave enough to enter a 5K? Have you heard your runner friends talking about training for a marathon or half marathon? Did you ever wish you had joined the basketball or volleyball team in high school but didn’t because you didn’t feel fit enough?
