About
I decided to become a personal trainer/group fitness instructor shortly after I graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. It is my belief that your body needs to be as strong as your mind is to be a well balanced, productive individual. Throughout my childhood and into my college career, I continuously struggled with weight issues and finally developed an exercise program that not only made my body look the way I wanted it to but also gave me confidence and exhilaration. I felt better then I could ever remember feeling and I was truly content for the first time in my life. This is why I began training. I wanted to make an impact on other peoples lives and change theirs just as mine had. As a personal trainer I believe that there is much more to the job then just designing workouts and helping clients perform them properly, it’s about inspiring others to fall in love with their bodies and learn how to live healthy and happy lives. It’s about motivating individuals to push themselves to new heights and challenge their bodies and minds in ways they have never done before. I complete these goals by personal training, group training, and nutrition planning.
