About Ashley Varol: I am the Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness at the University of Cincinnati Campus Recreation Center with oversight of our personal training, group fitness, specialty class, massage, nutrition & weight management and fitness floor staff and programs. I am a certified trainer and group fitness instructor with 9 years of experience, as well as an ACE Master Trainer. I greatly enjoy my job as I have the opportunity to work with people along the spectrum of fitness. I especially love to teach on fitness and wellness topics and love to mentor our younger staff. I am currently working on a Ph.D. in Health Education to further my education in workplace health and wellness, as I see this as a huge hindrance to our overall population's health.
