About
I was born and raised in Waukesha, WI. My journey began when I was in the 7th grade lifting weights in my friend Dan’s basement. Since then I have lived my life dedicated to understanding fitness, its importance, and how it relates to life & sport. After high school in 1996 I went to school at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and then transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1998 to study Kinesiology. I took my first fitness job back in January 2000, and in May 2005 got certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). For the past 15 years I have worked at such clubs/facilities as the Shorewood Community Fitness Center, Milwaukee Athletic Club, Vita Fitness & Physical Therapy, Wisconsin Athletic Club, Anytime Fitness and for three years apart of the Varsity Football Coaching-Staff at Waukesha North High School. I have also volunteered as a nutritional research assistant for NuGenesis Farm, varsity football coach for Waukesha North HS, and the Waukesha School District's, Wellness Steering Committee. I love music, art, philosophy, psychology, the outdoors, education, sports, fitness, healthy food, coffee shops, my friends and most of all my family.
