Gautham Sangappa is the Director of Proton, a fitness company with a difference. Gautham saw early on that there were no standards in the fitness industry as far as education and right training concepts were concerned. Anyone could become a trainer without any education. Bodybuilding was the most rampant type of training. He wanted to change all that. In 2007, Gautham Sangappa started Proton, an organization with a motto to bring a standard in learning and application of the best training principles. Proton’s vision is to inspire individuals and organisations to have the best training practices and to work more effectively and efficiently. Now, Proton has three verticals. 1.Proton Fitness Academy, 2.Proton Consultation Services, 3.Proton Placement Services. 1.Proton Fitness Academy - trains wannabe trainers for multiple international courses like American Council on Exercise (ACE), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and National Sports and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Personal Trainer Programs. Proton Fitness Academy conducts workshops on the most complicated exercises of barbell and kettlebells which can improve the performance of an athlete. 2.Proton Consultation Services - provides support in terms of consultation to numerous fitness clubs. 3.Proton Placement Services - recruits and places quality trainers with many well-known fitness brands across the country. Proton has a positive impact on fitness trainers and organisations every day, helping them work better and have greater job satisfaction. They can then provide service par excellence to their clients.
