Pre-Law, Rochester Community College Experience: Jason played a variety of youth sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball, track and field), but his athletic journey truly started when he began practicing competitive martial arts in 1991. His training included a wide variety of movement, breathing, and conditioning drills designed to enhance performance. Jason medaled in 3 of 4 divisions at the 2002 Midwest Submission Hunt. With years of hard training and a little bad luck, Jason accumulated a long list of injuries that resulted in chronic pain and partial disability. He stopped training to focus entirely on recovery. In his rehab process, Jason learned the benefits of combining chiropractic and massage therapy, but he did not fully recover until he experienced the benefits of corrective exercise. In a few months, Jason was pain-free and had dropped over 20 pounds, an experience that inspired him to switch careers. Jason has provided personal training and group fitness instruction since 2004, with clients ranging from youth athletes (13+) to geriatric clients (88+) and ever
