About Sarah Anisman: Sarah is a Northern California native who began her fitness career at Fitness Quest 10 in Scripps Ranch, California, in 2005. In 2009, she earned her Master's of Science Degree in Kinesiology with emphasis in Sport Psychology. Sarah trains clients of all fitness levels from professional athletes, youth athletes and teams, to individuals working on weight management, and/or older adults to maintain maximum functional mobility. Her main focus lies within barefoot training, and educating clients to use their most intrinsic muscles to land on their feet gracefully; reducing pain and injuries in their feet, ankles and knees, leading to better function, reduced injury and pain, and excelling in every day functional life and sport. She is a former competitor in Muay Thai Kickboxing, Division I Crew (San Diego State University), skiing, ice skating, volleyball, basketball, softball, and running. Her hobbies include Snowboarding, Yoga, art, cooking, surfing (in warm weather), hiking, playtime with her dog Callie, and anything that includes the great outdoors She is certified through ACE®, ACSM, and the NAFC (National Association for Fitness Certification) as a Certified Personal Trainer. Additionally, Sarah is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT 200) through Yoga Alliance®, a Teacher Trainer for the willPower Method®, and a National Course Presenter, certifying Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors.
