I'm Tyler Quinn a 26 year old recent graduate from Shenandoah university in Winchester, VA with a degree in Kinesiology and physical education. Through college and high school I played lacrosse where I was a starting goalie for 1 year at Husson University in Maine and 2 year starter at Shenandoah University as well as a starting midfielder for 1 season. Shortly after college I found myself wanting the feeling of competition again so I began training for a powerlifting competition, which I never ended up doing because I fell in love with weightlifting, The technical challenge of the sport was so exciting to me and now nearly 2 years later I am still competing as a 69kg lifter. I was a personal trainer at 24 hour fitness in tysons corner for a year before switching gyms to Breakaway fitness, a small private training gym as well as athletic development. I now work as a teacher in Arlington and train friends and family on the side. I love movement and believe there is so much more to training than aesthetic goals, being able to move with ease changes your life.
