About
I specialize in older adult, special needs and post rehab exercise and yoga. I design individualized movement programs, with particular interest in back, neck, shoulder, knee and balance issues. I have worked with a number of physical therapists and have developed both exercise and yoga class formats for people recovering from orthopedic surgery, living with a cancer diagnosis, or with osteoporosis. I am a yoga instructor (20+ years)and include stress reduction activities as part of any fitness program. I have worked with clients with MS, Parkinson's, fibromyalgia, cancer, stroke recovery and chronic pain. I enjoy working with people who are exercising to regain or maintain health and functional fitness. I am a certified Cancer Exercise Trainer with ACSM and C-IAYT with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT)
