Rendering a decision to uphold tax subsidies that over 6 million Americans currently receive through federally run health insurance exchanges allows leaders nationwide to focus on developing and implementing strategies to improve population health.

“Now that we have a decision on this issue, we can all move forward with innovative approaches to preventative health services that will allow us to positively impact the health of our nation,” said ACE CEO and President Scott Goudeseune. “We know that behavioral health interventions and chronic disease prevention and management programs work. That, along with education and cooperation from community leaders, is the only way we are going to successfully eradicate the obesity and chronic disease epidemics.”
