Lucie Buissereth, M.D. Fundraisers

Operation FitKids would like to thank Lucie B. of New York City for creating two fabulous fundraisers. Lucie's passion for fitness and caring touch from her medical background were evident in her enthusiastic organization and development of the following events in support of youth fitness.

In February, Jumpin' For Fun showed kids how much fun it is to jump rope. Dozens of high-energy kids jumped individually and in groups, assisted by willing volunteers from two high school football teams: South Shore and Canarsie in Brooklyn, New York. It wasn't long before more than 60 kids, high school students and parents were all jumpin' for fun! Special thanks go to Paedergat Athletic Club's Family Sports Center for hosting this event.

In March, 50 enthusiastic step aerobic enthusiasts came together to partake in Steppin' For Fun & FitKids at Sky Athletic Club in Rockville, New York. Participants endured the intense double-step workout, knowing they were raising money to help promote youth fitness.





Operation FitKids applauds Lucie B., Theresa Fortune, Paedergat Athletic Club, Sky Athletic Club, Sky Fitness Manager Pam Rosenbluth, and all the wonderful event participants and volunteers for their time and efforts.
