With 31 percent of American adults who take part in at least one sport or physical activity, an expertise in sports conditioning will help you with a wide range of clients. Earning a Sports Conditioning Specialty Certification will increase your marketability to elite athletes, fitness enthusiasts training for an event or young competitors who need to increase their balance, strength, agility and speed.

Who is it designed for?

Our Sports Conditioning Specialty Certification is intended for anyone within or outside the fitness industry interested in programs that help people improve their athletic performance. That could mean high school or community league athletic coaches who want their players to grow faster and stronger, first responders who need to improve their endurance, or fitness professionals preparing clients for a sports season or a personal goal.

How do I earn one?

To earn a Sports Conditioning Specialty Certification, you must review all of the components listed below and take the quizzes associated with the material. Although you may complete courses for any Specialty Certification, ACE will not recognize you as a Specialist unless you also hold a current NCCA-accredited certification or an equivalent professional credential.
