Pilates Core Basics is a course for fitness professionals to learn how to teach Pilates mat exercises. The course begins with lecture of pilates history, principles, and fundamentals with in-depth discussion of anatomy and postural assessment. Participants then learn in detail how to physically execute the principles and 15 basic mat exercises. After learning each exercise participants learn how to teach/cue including what to look for in their participants, how to correct and teach using hands-on methods and in-depth cueing.
