Any good building requires a strong foundation. The same is true for your body. A strong core stabilizes the spine to improve posture, correct imbalances, and enhance coordination when you put the body in motion. This translates to better athletic performance and improved functional capacity.
This workshop is all about core training exercises that strengthen and stabilize the core. Core training is an ideal complement to the Spinning® program because core strength and stability leads to increased power in cycling. Once you learn the exercises in this workshop outline and incorporate core training into your classes, you (and your students) will be amazed at the increased level of power you feel while riding Spinner® or outdoor bikes. In this workshop you will learn not only how to teach specific core training exercises, but also how to create Spinning and Core Training classes at your facility. A Spinning and Core Training class is a combination class that starts with a Spinning ride and finishes with a 20-, 30- or 35-minute segment of core exercises.
