The Effects of Stress on Exercise and Weight Management

This course is designed to inform health and fitness professionals about stress and the corresponding hormonal responses that lead to a decline in physical wellness. The presentation will focus on how Norepinephrine, Epinephrine and Cortisol can lead to hyperinsulinemia and arteriosclerosis. Signs of stress and how to aid others in managing stress will be discussed and practiced.
