Brancée Dance Fitness is a dance fitness class that infuses aerobic and cardio dance routines with hip-hop, belly dancing, and modernized ballroom steps. Brancée is fundamentally founded on general fitness moves and open ballroom steps that includes Latin, Smooth, and Night Club moves which specifically target and isolate core muscles. Dance moves are taught in repetition in counts of High progressing to Low 8/6/4/2 with a 5-6-7-8 rhythm in order for participants to follow along easily. Repetition in the moves is one of the basis and core strengths of Brancée because it helps to build muscle memory and coordination in addition to targeting specialized muscle groups especially the core abdominal muscles, glutes, thighs, and etc. Each move is defined, so that an instructor can lead their students effectively. In addition, the instructor will be able to modify the routines at every class based on the repetitive motion of the steps so that the students may acquire a different workout every time, building on muscle confusion to gain strength and endurance!!!
