IKSFA Kettlebells FitnessTrainer Certification

Learning Objectives- At the end of the course trainers will understand and be able to communicate: • History of the kettlebell • Features that make the kettlebell different from traditional fitness tools and the results that are achievable with it • How the name ‘kettlebell’ originated • How kettlebell movements enhance activities of daily living and sports • Safety issues to implement for one-on-one training • Proper warm up and cool down exercises • Unsurpassed vocabulary of movements - Basic through combinations • How to cue each movement for safety and proper technical performance • What to look for and how to correct common mistakes • Introduction to Kettlebell Sport (Girevoy Sport) • How to answer frequently asked questions A manual with text and photos will be provided for each trainer along with a certification upon proving practical proficiency and passing a simple written test. This course has been approved by NASM. I can send you a copy of the program book if you'd like, it's too large to send online.
