This Nutrition for Weight Loss/Management CEC will provide Personal Trainers with the education and tools necessary to help clients achieve their weight loss & fitness goals. Proper Nutrition described through this CEC will appropriately complement Clients’ workout programs. Nutrition Basics will be discussed including the National nutrition recommendations and guidelines for weight management and loss meal plans. Other important topics such as Insulin Resistance and Metabolic Syndrome will be reviewed. PRO Sports Club’s 20/20 Lifestyles Weight loss program has established a program specific meal plan geared towards the individual needs and goals of its participants. The 20/20 nutritional approach will be explained including the different meal plan stages and high satiety strategies. Finally, Personal Trainers will learn how they can best help their clients not only lose weight but maintain long-term weight management.
