This course is designed to teach personal trainers and group fitness instructors the guidelines and procedures for using a Stability Ball and/or a BOSU Balance Trainer as workout tools. When used correctly this equipment can provide many benefits, but without proper instruction and progressions, using them can lead to injury. Exercises with the ball and BOSU can develop balance and strength in the body’s stabilizing muscle groups. These exercises are functional and translate easily into any client’s lifestyle. The ball and BOSU are so versatile that they can be incorporated into each aspect of a workout routine; including stretching, strengthening, and cardiovascular work. They can also be used for clients’ of all fitness levels and training goals, when used properly.
