In the Subtle Body Anatomy course, students will deepen their knowledge of the subtle (energy) body by learning about the koshas, prana and bandhas. This course will also give the students knowledge of the ancient holistic system of healing known as Ayurveda. Through Ayurveda the system of doshas and gunas will be studied and applied to everyday life and yoga practice. In the anatomy and physiology of this course students will be focused on the stabilization of the pelvis and hips. Students will learn and teach foundations, focal point, alignment and variations of seated and hip opening yoga poses.
