Total Barre™ Instructor Foundation Course, Level 1

This foundational program incorporates a combination of barre and floor work along with the advantage of the STOTT PILATES® Five Basic Principles during 7 hours of comprehensive instruction. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the routine within their own bodies before examining each exercise essence and how to cue and modify effectively to the various tempos of music suggested for each section of the routine. Additional concepts will be explored including the mechanics of plyometrics and the value of cardio-based intervals within a program, dynamic stability, optimal mobility and movement efficiency providing them the tools to teach and vary the workout given, to meet the needs of different clientele as well as suggestions on themes of workouts to add variety.
