Parents are often faced with the challenge of balancing their own fitness regimens with caring for their child. More often than not, that leads to sacrificing their health for their baby’s routine. Explore time-efficient exercises and weight-management strategies personal trainers can use to help new parents avoid postural instability, poor dietary habits, and weight gain.

Participants will learn:

  • Postural deviations commonly associated with carrying and caring for newborns
  • To help clients define realistic goals during post-partum periods
  • To develop rapport with new parents by understanding their changing lifestyles
  • Exercise solutions and progressions to help develop stability, functional movement and stamina
