Your clients aren’t the same, so their exercise programs shouldn’t be either. Discover guidelines that will help you design workout plans to fit individual client’s needs and abilities – whether they’re a competitive athlete or they’re turned off by exercise. Identify client types, learn to determine needs vs. wants, and explore using the ACE Integrated Fitness Training® (ACE IFT®) model to determine unique starting points and progressions for each client.
You will learn:
- Considerations for beginners, intermediates and advanced exercisers including their likes and dislikes, exercise history and attitude toward physical activity
- To identify client needs and wants, and use them to determine appropriate exercise program starting points
- Exercise physiology principles and components of the ACE IFT® model to use in program design
- Appropriate progressions and regressions, and how to incorporate training variables including cardiorespiratory, strength, flexibility, balance, power and agility training
