To make sure your body is best prepared for competition, training for summer sports and activities should start months before the season begins. That means modifying training programs to include exercises and drills that prepare the body to run faster, jump higher and move more athletically. In this recorded webinar led by ACE Director of Professional Education Anthony J. Wall, you’ll learn how to progress safely into speed training. You’ll also develop an understanding of “relative training,” and how foundational training principles for recreational and professionals athletes are the same.

You will learn:

  • To apply progressive training guidelines to current programs
  • Safely progress to a more power-based style of training
  • Incorporate speed training into a program
  • Use plyometric training to sharpen performance
