The verbal course and online instruction by Sabrena Newton was good, but it would have been better if she had mentioned specific foods that contribute to excess protein (too much red meat) and phosphorus (soda pop). The handout was poorly assembled and proofread. The last 5 points of Lesson 2 were presumably from a diabetes course and need to be eliminated. The second point of Lesson 6 ends with "Teaching Portion Control"--also probably from a diabetes course. The 8th point of Lesson 6 "Contraindications for Osteoporotic Clients" is a repeat of the 4th point. Many times when taking the course I saw "[type Function]" repeated, instead of the course content, even after downloading Adobe Flash 10 and rebooting. I would have more confidence in the accuracy of the course if the handout were proofread better, and I would have more confidence in taking the course if it didn't keep saying "[type Function]". Otherwise the course was good. FROM ACE: Thank you for your feedback. We located and removed the diabetes course information that was mistakenly appended to this course handout, so this has been corrected.
